Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions before proceeding to
the villa booking form by confirming your acceptance at the bottom of
the
page.
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings with
sbs-villas.co.uk ("the Company"). Any booking made or order
placed by you, whether through the Company's website or otherwise, shall
be deemed an offer by you to rent the relevant accommodation subject to
these terms & conditions. All bookings through our Company and all
matters arising from them are subject to English law and to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. The person who makes the
booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and
is responsible for all payment due from the party. Booking services with
the company are currently only available to persons who are at least 18
years old. By submitting a booking you warrant and confirm to us that you
have read these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
sbs-villas.co.uk highly honors your privacy and will never trade, sell
nor buy any data including email addresses or other information disclosed
during any transactions you might engage in with us. We shall not under
any circumstances disclose your personal information to non-affiliated
individuals or companies without your express permission. We will only
provide the information required to trusted Associates of
sbs-villas.co.uk to enable such Associates to communicate with
sbs-villas.co.uk and/or yourselves about projects, prices and services
on offer.
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate,
prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or
violations of sbs-villas.co.uk' terms of use, or as otherwise required
by law.
Should sbs-villas.co.uk incorporate advertisements into the site it
does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you
interact with or view a targeted advertisement. However, by interacting
with or viewing an advertisement you are consenting to the possibility
that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting
criteria used to display the advertisement.
By
using our website you hereby agree to these terms and conditions.
Liability:
In consideration
of the fact that the Company acts only as a booking agent, the Company
accepts no liability whatsoever for any aspect of the arrangements and, in
particular, accepts no liability for any loss, personal injury/illness or
death however incurred. Although the Company uses all reasonable
endeavours to ensure the accuracy of all information provided and the
quality and facilities of the villas, we cannot accept any liability
whatsoever for any problems that occur while guests occupy the villa of
their choice. All information has been provided in good faith and no
liability is accepted whatsoever by the Company for any misrepresentation
of villa material or accommodation.
Payments:
If
the booking is made more than 8 weeks in advance of scheduled arrival, 30% deposit is required to secure the accommodation. The balance will be due 8
weeks before arrival. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks in advance
full payment for all villas and products including any promotional offers
is required. In the event that the Company is unable to obtain final
confirmation of availability for the selected villa a full refund of the
deposit paid will be made. The Company will not accept responsibility for
cash sent through the post. Payment can be made by cheque or by bank
transfer to our bank account or even by a credit card with the secure
system of Paypal. Booking confirmation together with location map for the
villa will be sent by email or if requested, by post. Where an initial
deposit is paid, the
balance must be paid within 2 months of the commencement date of the
booking, whether demanded by us or not. If this is not paid within 7
days of it being due, then we reserve the right to cancel the villa
booking without any refund.
Cancellation by
you:
You or any member of your party may cancel your booking
at any time however no refund will be made for any monies
paid. In certain cases any loss, if incurred involuntarily, may be
covered by insurance that you may have taken out. Travel Insurance is
strongly recommended.
Cancellation by the villa
owner/s:
If deemed necessary the Company reserves the right
to withdraw or cancel the villa booking. In this unlikely event you will
be offered the choice of renting another villa through the Company
(subject to availability) with the price difference payable/refundable as
appropriate, or of receiving a full refund of all monies paid to the Villa
Owner. No compensation is payable by the Company.
Telephone Calls:
We would like to advise our
clients that the Company randomly records telephone calls. This ensures
that customer service is constantly improved.
Behaviour:
It is your responsibility to ensure
that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes
offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to
others. In such circumstances the villa owner/s and the Company have the
right to terminate arrangements made on your behalf, in which case the
Company's responsibility to you ceases immediately and there can be no
refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or
expenses you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to
reimburse the Company for any expenses whatsoever it incurs as a result of
your behaviour.
Breakages & Cleanliness:
Our
accommodation is made available for letting on the understanding that the
property will be left clean and tidy at the time of checkout and all
personal waste must be removed from the property. It is not our policy to
take any security deposit however the customer will be held responsible
for any damage or breakages to the property, caused by the customer and in
the event of such occurrence, the incident must be reported to the villa
owner or their representative immediately and appropriate compensation
made. Customers are not permitted to move any furniture or equipment
without prior written consent from ourselves or the villa owner. In the
event of such permission being granted, it is the customers responsibility
to return the same to its original position before checkout. Under no
circumstances must any property for use inside the property, be moved
outside.
Air-Conditioning:
Whether the cost of any air-conditioning is included in the
villa price, or paid for as a supplement, the units must only be used
while you are in the property, with all windows and doors kept
closed. Under no circumstances must the units be left on
continuously while the property is unoccupied.
Building Work:
Any building work which may commence in the local area is outside of
our control, and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting
disturbance. However, should we become aware of any building work which
may reasonably be considered to aversely affect the enjoyment of your
holiday we will notify you as soon as possible, and wherever possible,
will offer you the opportunity to transfer to an alternative property at
the advertised price. Whilst we assure you of our best endeavours to
minimize any inconvenience we regret that we cannot accept any liability
in this case.
Villa Check-in / Check-out times:
Access to villas will be after 3pm on your day of arrival to allow
time for cleaning and servicing, and must be vacated by 11am on the day of
departure.
Complaints:
Once a villa has been
booked and paid for in full, the owner/s details will be provided and
thereafter guests will be liasing directly with the villa owner/s upon
arrival at their villa. In the unlikely event of a problem with your villa
occurring, whilst you are abroad, you must inform the villa owner/s so
that the matter can be put right.
Alterations by the
Company:
Although the Company makes every effort to ensure
that advertised descriptions are correct, it does not own any of the
villas and therefore cannot control or prevent changes. Although changes
to villas advertised are infrequent, the Company reserves the right to
change the description of any villa or service at any time, in which case
we will endeavour to notify you of all changes before commencement of the
booking date, if it is practical to do so. No compensation will be payable
by the Company in such cases. No claims will be accepted for costs or
additional expenses incurred as a result of any changes.
Advertising Refunds Policy
Should purchase be made on any of the services herein, the monies used to
pay for these services is not refundable.
Holiday booking Refunds Policy
sbs-villas.co.uk advertises property that is both exclusive to it and
that which is owned and maintained by third party individuals. Should any
bookings be made for third party properties, sbs-villas.co.uk takes no
part in such a transaction and as such cannot be held responsible in any
way with regards to any problems that might arise with that booking.
However should refunds be necessary on our exclusive properties due to
unforeseen circumstances, sbs-villas.co.uk reserves the right to
either make refund in full or in part depending on the reason for
cancellation of payment.
Web
images and material
sbs-villas.co.uk allows only advertisers to make use of the images
they themselves have paid for as part of their advertisement on this web
site. Should any third party linking, or deep linking take place from
unsolicited sources, sbs-villas.co.uk will aggressively pursue legal
action with the party involved. We do promote linking to our site, if you
would like to use material from us, all we ask is that you let us know by

Flights
Because bookings will be made with a number of different airlines, the
Terms and Conditions of these individual companies apply.
sbs-villas.co.uk will not be held responsible for changes and or
timetable alterations made by the airlines and will not make any refunds
to cancelled flight bookings unless specifically instructed to do so by
the airline.
Insurance
Please ensure you have covered your party with travel insurance as
sbs-villas.co.uk nor the property owners will be held responsible in
any way for injury that may result while renting or using any of the
properties offered on this website.
Changes
to this Privacy Policy
sbs-villas.co.uk reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
Should this be done, we shall notify you about significant changes in the
way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email
address specified in your details or by placing a prominent notice on our
site.
